With the trend leaning towards green toys this year, it can be difficult to find toys that go beyond basic wooden toys and blocks. My almost 3 year old turns everything in the house, from pots and pans to his brother’s head, into a drum. I wanted to try and redirect some of his energy into something that he could enjoy and that would keep him out of trouble at the same time. Great Sound Quality

While the Musical Band toy by Plan Toys may be a little more fragile than your typical toddler drum set, it is really closer to a musical instrument than a toy. The sound quality of the latex drums is fantastic and my preschooler loves being able to make music that sounds so great. The pieces, while sturdy, do come off of the base without too much work but they are not likely to be damaged easily. The cymbal has a loud clear sound that my preschooler loves and the guiro makes a fun addition to musical play.

The Musical Band is the perfect height for toddlers and preschoolers. The Musical Band sits on the floor in front of your child in a stable position and allows him to easily reach the drums and cymbal without needing to lean.
