Radio Flyer has long been known for their quality products for kids. It isn’t a surprise that the creator of your favorite childhood wagon has come up with a functional and fun scooter for the youngest riders. My First Scooter by Radio Flyer comes in classic red and pretty pink and is great for kids ages 2-5.
Easy for Younger Riders
My First Scooter by Radio Flyer has been designed with younger kids in mind (2-5). Many preschoolers have watched older siblings enjoy scooters and wanted to join in but have become frustrated when they didn’t have the balance or coordination to ride a traditional scooter. My First Scooter has an extra wide base in front, making it easier for preschoolers to balance and place their foot where it needs to be. The three wheel design, with two in the front and one in the back, creates a more stable base and allows preschoolers to be successful and enjoy a fun active play experience. The handles have been ergonomically designed for small hands and the tapered base provides a clear kick path for small feet.
Fun and Stylish
My First Scooter comes in classic Radio Flyer red and in a pink floral design for little girls. Girls and boys will enjoy the stylish design that helps them ride with the big kids. The sturdy material holds up to rough play without showing signs of wear and makes this a great toy for active preschoolers. My First Scooter folds easily for storage.
Focus on Safety
Traditional scooters often get going too fast for younger kids but My First Scooter only goes as fast as your preschool can push. My First Scooter will push easily and smoothly without getting out of control. A wheel cover is placed over the back wheel so preschoolers won’t hit the moving wheel and fall down. The three wheel design provides a stable base for preschoolers who are still working on their balance.
From the Reviewer
My 5 year old loves Radio Flyer’s My First Scooter and it’s stable design makes it easy for him to ride without feeling frustrated like he would riding a traditional scooter that would be too difficult for him to use. The quick folding design makes the scooter small enough to easily fit in the trunk of a car or even in a large stroller basket making it the favored toy to grab on the way out the door. So many toys marketed towards preschoolers are aimed at sedentary play such as video games or electronic toys. Preschoolers need to be active and an active participant in play in order to build muscles, release energy, and establish healthy habits. My First Scooter from Radio Flyer makes active play exciting and encourages preschoolers to get outside and play and learn how to live a healthy lifestyle.
