Reuse your BPA sport bottle!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve gotten rid of those number 7 plastic BPA sport bottles and replaced them with safe eco friendly alternatives . Except, the number 7 plastic bottle can’t be recycled and then just sits in the landfill taking up space and not doing anything productive for the environment. Granted, it should never have been produced wasted our resources, energy, hurt the environment and poisoned us… but it was. What’s the alternative to just tossing this number 7 sport bottle?

Reuse. You can’t drink out of it so what can you do with it? Ecollo posted directions awhile back about how to make a solar light from the toxic bottles and I think it’s a genius idea.  Especially seeing that it’s camping season and a great home school or summertime project for the kids!  A Lightcap200 and a toxic water bottle and you’re ready to make a light. Check out Ecollo for the directions and other great eco-savvy ideas on how you can recycle and reuse!
