Congratulations to Kerrie Mayans!
The Amazing Alphabotz Superphonic Decoder Cards definitely earned a “thumbs” up from our family. The Alphabotz characters take flash cards to a whole new dimension. Priced at $20.00 a set Alphabotz are an affordable alternative to expensive phonic programs, and are extremely versatile.
Making Phonics Fun
When I initially opened the Alphabotz Superphonic Decoder Cards I felt a bit intimidated by the number of images that appeared on the face of the card. However, upon reading the instructions I quickly learned how easy it is to use the Alphabotz cards. As I introduced the first Alphabot to my five year old son I thought it might be an information overload and a bit cumbersome to get through. But I was wrong again. When I started skipping some of the information and moving to the next Alphabot my little boy stopped me and said, “Wait, Mama! What special skills does Farley have?” In fact, we made it through a complete introduction of all 46 Alpabotz characters with steady enthusiasm.
Affordable Phonics Education
Cost is another important factor for our family. Last year economic challenges hit our family and we made the decision to opt out of pre-school to save money each month. As a result our son was a little bit behind when he entered Kindergarten this year. We’d been searching for a good phonics program to get him up to speed. Compared to other flash card sets and phonics programs I found Alphabotz Superphonic Decoder Cards to be the biggest bang for your buck. I’ve price watched through discount book clubs and never found a phonics program under $20.00. It’s impressive how comprehensive the Alphabotz Superphonic Decoder Cards are. There’s much more than meets the eye. Even my older children can be heard around the house repeating the fun phonetic secret phrases such as, “Imaginative iguanas with ingenious intent, invite icky-sticky inchworms into their igloo to invent!” You can even line up cards to build words.
Most importantly my son shows an increased interest in reading. He’s so excited about the simple concept that letters make sounds, sounds build words and words tell amazing stories. He actually asks, “Mama, can I do Alphabotz now?” Our Alphabotz time takes the work out of learning and transforms it into a fun activity!
