$20 Thanksgiving Dinner from Walmart (Closed)
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. Yes, Christmas is nice (and who doesn’t like to get presents), but it’s stressful and honestly, I’m all about the food so thanksgiving is perfect. I love having the chance to spend the day smelling wonderful things cooking and relaxing with my family in a way that just never seems to happen on Christmas day. Unfortunately, with the economy the way it is, many families are struggling to come up with the money for a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Walmart has come up with a wonderful solution that makes Thanksgiving affordable for nearly everyone – their $20 Thanksgiving dinner for 8. The $20 Thanksgiving dinner includes:
- One 12-pound Grade A turkey*
- Three 11 to 15.5-ounce cans Green Giant vegetables
- Two 14-ounce cans Ocean Spray cranberry sauce
- Three 6-ounce boxes of Stove Top stuffing
- One 5-pound bag of red potatoes
- One 12-count package of Sara Lee dinner rolls
- One 22-ounce pumpkin roll cake
If you want to go beyond the basics and find a new favorite Thanksgiving recipe, Walmart has some great recipes by Food Network star, Melissa d’Arabians.

Nice! I love Walmart!
Definitely remember most my first Thanksgiving ever cooking, three years ago. I was so scared I was going to royally screw up dinner and we’d be doing McDonald’s take out.
