Congratulations to Kirsten!
Kids love to help in the kitchen but that “help” can often be frustrating to a parent who is already busy and trying to put a meal on the table while tripping over a toddler or preschooler. The Learning Tower by Little Partners is an absolute must-have for parents of young children. This product is one of the best that I have seen in a long time because not only does it keep kids safe in the kitchen, but it allows them to participate in endless activities, from cooking to working on an art project, while staying close to mom. I love all of the extra moments I am able to capture now that the Learning Tower provides my kids with a safe place to be in the kitchen, right in the middle of all the action, and I can’t imagine what I ever did without it!
Keeping Kids Safe in the Kitchen
One of the biggest problems with having kids in the kitchen is there are so many safety hazards. Before discovering The Learning Tower, I was constantly tripping over my kids as they tried to stay close to me while I cooked and trying to keep them out of drawers that contained things that were not safe for them to play with. My kids have always insisted on being in the kitchen with me and they often dragged over a chair or stool so they could reach the counter where I was working. While standing on a chair may work fine if the parent is paying complete and total attention to the child, it is generally not a safe option. Kids can easily tip chairs over or fall off and get hurt and it just isn’t realistic for a parent to give a child undivided attention while cooking dinner. The Learning Tower gives kids a safe place to go in the kitchen while keeping them out from under foot and helping them to feel like they are part of the action.
Cooking with Kids
My kids love to cook but it takes a lot of patience to cook with kids and when you are rushing to cook dinner it can sometimes be hard to come by. Having the Learning Tower in the kitchen makes it easy for my kids to join me in the kitchen without getting in the way and is a great reminder for me to slow down and allow them to participate in meal preparation. It’s hard to say no to a child who is patiently standing in the Learning Tower waiting for a job to do. The Learning Tower has an adjustable floor that allows children to stand at the perfect height to work at the kitchen counter. The sturdy frame does not wobble at all, even with two children in the tower, and the square frame protects a child from falling off in any direction. With kids safely position at the kitchen counter, there are so many kitchen tasks that they can help with that will teach them valuable life skills and allow them to contribute to family meal time.
My kids love to measure ingredients for me, play with play dough (or leftover bread dough), and tear lettuce leaves for salad while standing in the Learning Tower. My 3 year old loves to stand in the Learning Tower next to the kitchen sink and play in the water or help wash the dishes. My 2 year old loves having a place that he can go in the kitchen to get a better view of whatever I am doing.
Learning Tower Accessories for Education
The Learning Tower has some wonderful accessories that make it a versatile tool for education and fun. The Learning Tower comes with a small piece of fabric that covers the top to create a basic fort that kids love and can use for imaginative play. You can extend the creative play options by adding a sheet or using the Playhouse kit that includes a cute curtain, attachable roof, and 4 different signs to create a lemonade stand, doll house, drive-through, or puppet theatre.
We are homeschooling this year and it has been an adjustment trying to figure out how to keep my 2 year old occupied so we can do school. The Art Easel accessory for the Learning Tower features a white board on one side and a chalk board on the other side. During our school day, The Learning Tower is the center of attention. My 2 year old and 3 year old will often stand together in the Learning Tower playing play dough or working on a project at the counter and my 6 year old will use the art easel for his magnetic letter tiles, to practice his spelling words, or to work on math problems. When anyone starts to get antsy, we just have everyone switch positions on the Learning Tower and work on something new.
My kids would much rather stand in the Learning Tower than sit down on a chair or stool and they love the freedom they have to get in and out. My 2 year old has not tolerated a booster seat or high chair for a while now because he hates being contained but he loves the independence the Learning Tower gives him to get up and down as he wants to.

This fabulous!! My daughter is always bringing chairs and her kid table into the kitchen to watch me, this would be a a great solution!
i would love to win this for my two-year old grandson–he would love to watch his Mommy cook and wash dishes.
We’d definitely use this in the kitchen so our little one can be an active part of all kitchen activities. Right now he’s on the sidelines but I know he’d love being a part of the action so much more!

There are MANY uses, but I’d love to teach my daughter to climb up and wash her hands on her own!
I would TOTALLY use this in the kitchen! My son is ALWAYS wanting to see what im doing in the kitchen, this would be a great way to let him participate safely! Vanessa.Iaquinta@gmail.com

I think this would be cool to have my by computer while I’m working. My daughter is often interesting in my work (design), but can’t see very well unless she’s in my lap. I could also see it being helpful in the kitchen later on when she’s a tad older. My hubby would probably make a fort out of it.

I would use this for my 2 years old daughter. She loves to take a stool everywhere in the house specially to the kitchen.Im always afraid she’ll fall, so this is great for her. Thanks for the chance.
I would definitely use this in the kitchen. My girls would love it and it would be more stable and sturdy then the chairs that they push over to spy on what I am doing.

My girl friend and I have both been talking about how we want one of these for our daughters. We like to have them help us in the kitchen or be able to see what we are doing when we cook and this is the best way to do that. I have tried using the kitchen chair but it is not safe. I would absolutely love this for my daughter.

I have been wanting a Learning Tower forever! I have 3 kids (6, 4 & 2) who all want to help me cook at the same time. 3 dining room table chairs being drug all over the kitchen makes things a bit crowded, not to mention dangerous. A Learning Tower is #1 on my wishlist!
I desperately need one of these. I have a two year old who has been climbing since before he could walk and already sleeps in the top bunk. When he wants to get to something he will climb anything he can find to get to it. He loves to “help” in the kitchen but I worry more about his climbing in the kitchen than anywhere else because of the tile floor and all the dangerous things in there, so I usually keep him out. I would love to be able to have a learning tower so I could let him be in the kitchen with me.
I’d use it in the kitchen as my oldest LOVES to help cook!

I would love to have the learning tower to use in my kitchen so my daughters can help cook, or just be there to watch and learn. This is an awesome product and I have many friends who swear by it!
