Thermos FUNtainers (Closed)

Congratulations to DARLA KIDDER, the winner of the Thermos FUNtainer giveaway!

funtainerSchool lunches and snacks on the go can be really affordable with reusable containers. Thermos is an old favorite that is well known for it’s ability to keep hot food hot and cold food cold. The new FUNtainer line, which includes water bottles and food jars (which are perfect for cut fruit on the go) is sure to be a hit with kids. My 6 year old son fell in love with the Star Wars the Clone Wars FUNtainer set from Thermos at the ABC Kids show in Las Vegas a few months ago and Thermos was kind enough to accept his offer to review it for them.

The FUNtainer water bottle has been a huge hit with all three of my kids (ages 2, 3, and 6). They love that it keeps their water cold for such a long time and the easy open lid pops open to reveal a short straw that is perfect for busy kids on the go. I’m a big fan of the straw feature with my 2 year old because he has a talent for spilling water out of any cup but the FUNtainer is easy for him to drink out of without making a mess. As an added bonus, this water bottle is so sturdy that it hasn’t dented or shown any sign of wear even after being used by my 3 boys for over a month.

The FUNtainer food jars are a great alternative to traditional food storage containers because they do such a great job of keeping food at the right temperature and they can hold up to any abuse kids can throw at them. The easy screw on lid is easy for kids to get on and off but prevents food from leaking out in the car (my mini-van thanks it for that).

Thermos offers a great variety of fun designs for their FUNtainer line so any kid can easily find a favorite. These reusable containers make it easy for moms to save money on sandwich bags and water bottles and make simple changes for a greener lifestyle.

I am a major Star Wars fan, so my favorite FUNtainer besides the Clone Wars one (which I didn’t see on their site) is the Darth Vader one (Star Wars FUNtainer Bottle 2422SWR). I also like the purple Snak Jar, because purple is the best color.
