Winning Ways:
This week’s tip is to use form-filling programs to speed up your entries. Two in particular that have been of great use to me are RoboForm and Texter.
RoboForm is a program I have been using for years. It is a handy little toolbar that works in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. They have a free version that allows a limited number of saved forms. I would suggest starting with the free version. You can always upgrade later if you find the program to be useful. After the initial set-up, you simply click on your identity on the toolbar and it will fill the form for you. In addition the program offers the option to save forms that may not include the standard information like name and address. In terms of blog giveaways, this works well with Google Docs forms that some blogs are using, as well as the comment forms on WordPress and similar blogs where you have to fill out name, email address, and website url.
Texter is another free program I use on a daily basis. I have only been using it for a couple of months but already I would be lost without it. Basically it is a program that sets up keyboard shortcuts. For example, when I type in “`1″ the program automatically changes that to my email address. The email shortcut is especially helpful when entering giveaways hosted by blogger where you need to add your email address to each entry. The program can also type whole sentences or paragraphs. Another shortcut I use regularly is “`t” for “I follow you on twitter as greatgiveaways.” The beauty of this program is that any phrase that I type over and over in the process of entering blog giveaways can be reduced to a couple of keystrokes.
Both of these programs allow me to enter blog giveaways in less time, which means I can enter more!

This prize caught my eye this week because my silly son somehow lost his sleeping bag. He is a fairly new Boy Scout (just crossed over this past February).
