Nowali is a Swedish company that has been making children’s moccasins for over sixty years. The new spring 2010 line has adorable options for both boys and girls. Sailboats, frogs, spring flowers and polka dots adorn the four new moccasin styles released this spring. The colors are bright and fun without being too trendy. My son has a pair of the sailboat pattern and we receive many compliments whenever he wears them. If you have a little girl, the polka dot and spring flower styles are perfectly feminine and sweet.

Stay On Baby’s Feet!

No matter what brand of socks or shoes, finding a pair that stayed on my baby’s feet was next to impossible. We would start out the day freshly dressed and quickly lose one or both socks before we even left the house. The weather is still chilly and going barefoot was not an option. The most important feature of these moccasins is their ability to stay on my baby’s feet. (A small miracle at my house) The Nowali secret is a double elastic ankle that keeps the moccasin securely in place.

Quality

Parents have trusted the Nowali Company for generations. Purchasing a proven brand name is a definite plus when you need clothing and shoes to stay looking nice. These classic moccasins are still hand stitched in the same manner they were years ago.

Machine Washable

Inevitably anything my baby wears with eventually get dirty. Nowali moccasins are machine washable. Simply toss them in the wash whenever they need freshening. The colors held fast and the moccasin did not fall apart even after several washings.

Natural Materials

My baby has very sensitive skin so I try to limit the number of chemicals he is exposed to. Nowali moccasins are made of breathable cotton with soft leather soles and contain no harmful dyes or substances.

Non-Skid Soles

Tile, linoleum and wood floors often act as a slip and slid for small children trying to walk. My baby does not walk yet but if he did there is a non-skid sole to provide traction on slippery surfaces. The leather sole is soft and flexible allowing tiny toes to wiggle freely.

Wonderful Gift for an Easter Basket

I found the moccasins to be the perfect combination between sock and shoe. I was able to easily put the moccasin on my wiggling baby without any wrestling. Nowali moccasins are washable, comfortable and definitely worth a try this spring.
