We LOVE everything Insect Lore!!! My kids would love the butterflies. We have had the beetle barn, ant hill, ladybug thing, ant glasses, bug viewer, and more. I wish I could buy it all.

Super excited! We are raising a great Spangled fritillary caterpillar right now, and we have tadpoles too. my kids and i are all total bug nuts. We raised praying mantis last year (the eggs cases were in my flower bed), and a swallowtail caterpillar and a bunch of monarchs.

Tree, that is so neat that you found the egg cases in your flower bed. We used to catch tadpoles in the creek in our backyard and raise them. I’m so excited to try frogs with my kids so they can have the same experience.

How exciting! We raised butterflies when my oldest was young and set them free whaile on vacation at the lake – we still see that type of butterfly in the area and it’s neat to think they might actually be from the ones we raised.
