Spring Sandals from Eleven

One of my all time favorite things about summer is that I can get away without looking for kids socks nearly all season because I can put my kids in sandals. That may not seem like a big deal, but when you are trying to get three boys out the door it can be a lifesaver. My kids are in and out of the house all summer long so they love being able to just throw on a pair of sandals and since I live in flip flops myself I’m happy to retire all of our tennis shoes for the summer.

Durable Shoes for Kids

I love cute kids shoes as much as the next person, but more than anything else, I’m mainly interested in quality. The cutest kids shoes in the world aren’t worth anything to me if they wear out after only a few months. With 3 boys we like to pass on shoes to younger siblings but I’ve found over the years that there are very few brands that allow me to do that. We’ve worked with Eleven Shoes several times over the past few years and the first pairs we reviewed are still going strong and look great. Eleven Shoes have a short break in period and have held up to whatever my kids have dished out – which I can assure you is a lot.

The new Eleven spring collection includes a great assortment of sandals for boys and girls that works for causal and dressier occasions. They have a great variety of colors including fresh pastels and some darker neutrals. A few pairs of their shoes for girls really make me feel the heavy levels of testosterone in my house. Check out this sweet pair – If I was under 10 I would totally be drooling.

My son has been wearing a pair of Eli Sandals for a few months now and they still look brand new. My kids are really sensitive to shoes that rub their feet so the fact that my son wore these for several full day trips to Disneyland is a testament to how comfortable these shoes are. From our past experience with Eleven, I know that these shoes will be around next summer for my younger son to wear looking not too much worse for wear.
