BabyBjorn Comfort Carrier

The name BabyBjorn has been synonymous with quality baby carriers for years.  The Swedish company was founded in 1961 and has been dedicated to quality, safety and style ever since. Their products are the Cadillac of carriers and the new BabyBjorn Comfort Carrier is a wonderful addition to their line.

Keep Baby Close

Since becoming a mother I quickly discovered that there are days when my baby just wants to be snuggled. This carrier allowed me to keep my sweetheart close throughout the day without being confined to the couch. It was also wonderful to use on family walks and trips to stores where I needed to have my hands free. BabyBjorn works with pediatricians to ensure your child will not only be comfortable but safe while in the carrier.

Stylish

The Comfort Carrier comes in Organic Anthracite, a deep charcoal gray with light gray accents. The carrier looks sleek and stylish. It has a unisex design that would be welcomed by both Mom and Dad. Unlike many of the baby products I have purchased my husband was willing to use this without a quibble. I also appreciated the neutral fabric because it did not clash with my clothing. Plus, you would not have to purchase a new carrier for a second baby of a different gender.

Larger Than Traditional BabyBjorn

The Comfort Carrier fits babies 13 to 31 lbs and is the first BabyBjorn designed to be used past one year of age. Due to the larger weight limit your child will be able to use the carrier longer up to two years of age. Since my baby is almost 9 months old I am pleased that we will be able to have more than a few months use of the product. While perfect for my family with an older baby this is not a newborn carrier.  The suggested age range is listed as three months and older in addition to the weight regulations. Also due to Comfort Carriers larger size it is not easily tucked into a diaper bag for travel.  If you are like me and the larger size and age limits are not a problem for you then the Comfort Carrier is a good buy.

Comfortable

We tested the Comfort Carrier on a recent trip to a mountain ski resort.  There was a lot of walking involved and a stroller would have gotten in the way or been simply impossible to use. The activities of the day included hiking and a tram ride to the top of the slope.  At around nineteen pounds my tiny baby is no longer very tiny. The ergonomic padded shoulder and waist straps evenly distributed his weight over my body. This made carrying my adorably chubby boy much less of a chore for my poor back and shoulders.  My husbands 6’ extra large frame is much more sizable than my 5’2” size small frame. However, the carrier was adjustable and fit both of us with ease. The washable bib kept drool at bay and wicked away moisture on the hot summer day. The carrier has two carrying positions for flexibility of use. My baby truly enjoyed facing forward so he could take in all of the sights. Since he is a curious little tyke this is the position we most used. The inward facing position was nice for snuggle time on the go once my baby grew tired.  The inward facing position also features two leg placement options for a customized comfort fit.

Machine Washable

Babies can be messy so I try and find products that are easy to care for. I washed the carrier in warm water with a gentle bleach free detergent and hung it to dry. The fabric did not fade and nothing fell apart or came loose. A machine washable terry cloth bib is also included. I was usually able to just wash the removable bib instead of the entire carrier.

Organic

The Comfort Carrier is made from organically grown cotton and is guaranteed to be free from allergens and pesticides.  This was reassuring since my baby boy puts everything into his mouth. I was impressed with the companies dedication to safety from the materials used to the finished product.

The Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier is comfortable, stylish and easy to use.  It will be a definite life saver whenever my family attends events stroller free.  The BabyBjorn is very well made and I know it will still be around should we choose to add a second bundle of joy to our family.

In compliance with new FTC Guidelines, please note that this was a sponsored post.  I was given a BabyBjorn Comfort Carrier to test and review free of charge.  However, I was not paid for the review and the opinions are my own.
