I don’t do a lot of shopping and most of the shopping that I do is online, but I love small businesses and often wish I had more time to go out and explore some of the ones nearby. This year, between dealing with morning sickness and partial bedrest I have been doing nearly all my shopping from my computer. My husband decided things weren’t complicated enough so he went out and broke his ankle. Between the two of us, we’re a bit of a mess. We’re feeling housebound though so we’re taking the chance to head out for Small Business Saturday to explore some of our local small businesses today on a short outing to tackle some of the items on our holiday shopping list.
