Giveaway: Entertain your Kids with BabbaBox

BabbaBox As a mom, I firmly believe that it’s perfectly okay to admit that we can’t do everything all the time. While we may have huge plans for projects and activities we want to do with our kids, by the time you do all the planning, shopping, and set-up, you’re typically too tired to do the actually project.

Or maybe that’s just me.

Clearly, I am not at the top of my game at the moment. 6 weeks away from the end of this pregnancy, my kids are starting to notice that I’m a bit slower than usual and they aren’t thrilled that the activities we are doing are getting less creative and more sedentary.

They didn’t realize I had a trick up my sleeves though. When I was put on bedrest last week I pulled out the BabbaBox.

BabbaBox

The BabbaBox is an ingenious idea by innovative mom, Jessica Kim, who was looking for a way to get kids away from the TV and actively engaged with their parents. She overcomes all the challenges that we face as busy moms — coming up with ideas, buying the supplies, knowing what to do with your kids in the first place.

The BabbaBox is a monthly subscription service that delivers absolutely everything you need to do themed activities. This isn’t just a box of crafts either. The box we received was on the theme of the Sun, Moon, & Stars, which was perfect for us because we’ve been studying astronomy as part of our homeschool curriculum. Included in the box was a hardbound story book, several crafts, mini binoculars, coloring pages, a science activity that allows kids to track the moon’s cycle, and a digital component that teaches kids to play Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star on a digital piano.

My kids were stoked. And I was in luck because most of the activities could be done from the seated position so my dr. can stay happy with me a bit longer.

By far, my kids’ favorite activity was creating constellations with sun sensitive paper.

BabbaBox

The BabbaBox is only $29.99 a month, which is a great deal considering all that it includes and the time that it saves you.
