As we get back into the routine of another school year, one of the things I’m really going to be pushing with my kids is reading. We’re into our third year of homeschooling and if I’m being perfectly honest, if we get nothing else accomplished this year, I hope my kids really develop their love of reading.
The Kindle has been great for this (and I finally discovered how to check out books from our library on the Kindle). My boys are technology lovers so anytime I can incorporate a techy twist they are much happier.
Amazon has the first book of the popular Artemis Fowl series available for FREE on the Kindle right now. This probably won’t last long so I’d hurry and snag this. If you don’t have a Kindle, you can still read this book for free on your computer if you download the Kindle app.
