I highly recommend storing important documents and photos in a fire proof safe. We have a large one we use to store the things in our home that are not replaceable. If you don’t have the space for a bigger safe or can’t afford one right away, this safe is the perfect size to slide under the bed and can fit documents and disks or hard drives with your family photos backed up on them.
I hope we are never in a situation where we need to make use of our safe but it makes me feel better knowing that our photos are protected.
