We all have favorite products. They are the things that make our lives easier, more enjoyable, and, in some cases, tastier. Only a few elite products can earn the Product of the Year distinction though.
The Product of the Year award makes it easy to find a new favorite (especially if you don’t have a lot of time for trial and error). Each product has been voted on be 50,000 real consumers
What does it mean to be Product of the Year?
Product of the Year is the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation. Established 25 years ago in France, POY currently operates in 32 countries with the same purpose: Guide consumers to the best products in their market and reward manufacturers for quality and innovation.
I’ve been personally testing out some of the 2012 Product of the Year winners this week and I’ve found a few of my old favorites mixed in with a few new favorites.
At the top of my list is the Lansinoh mOmma Straw Cup by Lansinoh. My little one has recently discovered straws but she doesn’t quite have the coordination to use a regular sippy cup and since she’s still breastfeeding I don’t want to resort to bottles when she doesn’t have much of a need for them.
I also discovered a new favorite for me — Listerine’s Total Care Zero mouthwash, an alcohol free mouthwash that doesn’t have the bite of regular mouthwash.
I love having the benefit of the combined experience of 50,000 consumers.
