This cute DIY Cupid’s arrow craft is perfect as a Valentine’s Day decoration or a simple Valentine’s Day craft! We loved making this and it looks so cute when it’s done!
Valentine’s Day crafts are such a fun way to break up a long winter and it doesn’t get cuter than this easy DIY Cupid’s arrow craft. This project doesn’t require many supplies and it looks really cute when it’s done. We hung our arrow up in the window and it looks adorable!
Supplies Needed
- Paper straws
- Felt hearts (or felt that is large enough you an cut hearts out of it) – You could also use something like these foam craft hearts.
- Scissors
- Craft glue or hot glue – We used craft glue for this but honestly, I’d use hot glue because it took forever to dry on the felt.
Cupid’s Arrow Craft Instructions
Take two matching felt hearts to use for the arrow. Use glue to attach the straw to the center of the heart from the point side of the heart.
Line the rest of the heart with glue (including a dab on the back of the straw) then attach the matching heart and push firmly.
Take two more matching hearts and draw a large “M” on them with the point of the heart at the bottom of the “M”. This will become the end of your arrow.
Cut the “M” shape out on two harts then glue them facing each other with the other end of the straw between them to form the end of your arrow.
Let your arrow dry completely and then display.
That’s it!
This looks so cute when it’s done and can be used as a kid’s craft or a frugal Valentine’s Day decoration!
