Giveaway: Taste the Difference with Barilla®

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Barilla®.

I have three boys who can each out-eat me. I’m scared of the teenage years. They devour anything that lands on our kitchen table. As a mother, I can’t imagine having hungry kids and being unable to feed them, but every day mothers across the country are faced with this and it’s heartbreaking.

In an effort to help put food on tables across the country, Barilla® has partnered with Feeding America — the nation’s largest organization dedicated to fighting domestic hunger through a network of food banks. I know that it can be hard to know how to help when this problem seems so big.

Barilla® is making it easy for you to jump in and start making a difference. From 4/1/14 through 5/31/14 Barilla® will donate $0.05 to Feeding America’s National Produce Program for every jar of Barilla® sauce purchased with a minimum donation of $150,000.

Dinnertime is sacred around my house and it’s one thing I really didn’t want to sacrifice despite the fact that I’m mostly out of commission until these babies are born. Some of my favorite moments have happened around the dinner table. I can’t imagine missing out on moments like this:

baby eating

Especially since kids grow up so quickly.

toddler eating

Barilla® is a staple in my pantry because it makes it easy for me to throw together a great meal without a lot of effort. This is hugely important lately since I haven’t been spending a lot of time in the kitchen during my pregnancy. Fortunately I have a 10 year old who knows how to brown hamburger. Throw in a jar of Barilla® and some noodles and we have an easy meal that everyone in my family likes!
