You really need to customize your screen time rules to your family’s needs and the ages of your kids. I’d strongly recommending setting some guidelines about:

• HOW long kids can use electronics
• WHERE they can use electronics
• WHAT they can do while using electronics

In my house, we have a no screens in kid bedrooms rule and all electronics have to charge in mom and dad’s bedroom. That way we at least have a shot at knowing what they are doing on their electronics and we know when they get them in the morning.
