The process of dying Easter eggs with young children can be, well, a mess. While I’d love to say that I’m such an easy-going, relaxed mom that I just accept the mess as part of the process, in reality, it takes a lot of the fun out of it for me.
I am not a morning person at all so I tend to be really bad at eating breakfast. Now that I have a toddler, skipping it isn’t an option so I go for things that are really simple and can be made the night before. I used the Funley’s granola clusters to make 3 different flavor combos of yogurt parfaits. It only takes a couple minutes to make and they were all so delicious! My personal favorite was the chocolate raspberry. These parfaits also make a perfect after school snack or low fat dessert option.
One of the things that is so cool about the way kids learn is that picking up languages is so much easier for them than it is for us as adults. By age 3, about 85% of the wiring in kids’ brains is already formed. There’s a neat new app from Kadho called Mochu Pop, that puts that ability to good use. Mochu Pop is a FREE language immersion app designed for babies and toddlers that introduces the most important sounds from 4 different languages.
