This week is a great time to make sure that you have all the bare essentials in stock. There are plenty of luxuries that you have no doubt amassed over the last few months, but you need to be sure you have all of the necessities at hand.
Skipping breakfast is not an option for me . . . at least if I want to be in any condition to be around other humans. The problem is I like to hit the ground running in the morning so taking the time to stop and actually cook breakfast drives me nuts. Overnight oats are the perfect option for me because I don’t have to do anything except grab a spoon and pull it out of the fridge. It’s nice and filling too without feeling heavy so I love starting my day off with it.
This simple preschool sensory activity can be done using basic household supplies — just salt and a cookie sheet! I love doing sensory activities with my kids. Before my kids are old enough for structured crafts or more formal preschool activities, we start with sensory activities. Yes, they are messy, but kids get so much out of sensory activities, especially during the preschool years and they always have a blast.
