Amazon has an amazing deal on a Kodak mini video camera. My 8 year old son has almost this exact same camera and he has had so much fun with it. He creates his own movies using his Lego’s and other toys and documents some of the more random family events. I suspect that we’ll have loads of fun in a few years, looking back and watching some of the videos he’s created.

I’m a big fan of buying gifts ahead of time so I can get a lower price on them. I have to admit, I dread tax time. All that paperwork and hunting for specific documents drives me crazy. I fully take advantage of software that saves me a bit of time and can help to walk me through the basics. I haven’t used the H&R Block at Home software before but it has pretty good reviews on Amazon and is currently on sale for a great price. This regularly sells for $34.99 but is currently on sale for only $16.99.

I find that taxes are a lot less stressful if I get them done early so it’s time to start thinking about the tools I need to get them done now.

I never used to see the mattress protectors. Then I had kids. Then I potty trained those kids. Now I realize how essential it is to have a mattress protector on every single bed.

I feel kind of old. It’s been a while since my last pregnancy and the last time I shopped for baby gear it wasn’t nearly as high tech as it is now.
