You got up this morning and as you pulled up your britches you felt something strange on the back of you thigh. Or you suddenly have a nagging itch on your arm, near a mole that you are pretty sure had always been there. Or you notice that a spot on your chest seems to be bigger then you recall. Fitness Friday: What’s Your Food Hiding From You?
I was hit by a huge shock at the pediatrician’s office today. Did you know that an 8oz glass of WHOLE milk has the same amount of fat as FOUR pats of butter?!? I mean I knew that there was more fat in whole milk then skim or even 2% milk but I did not realize that it was so much! This got me thinking – What other sneaky foods are there out there? What other foods are hiding behind the guise of health while we keep packing on the pounds.

High levels of stress can cause hypertension, high blood pressure, hormonal imbalances, weight gain, weight loss (and not in a good way), headaches and a poorly functioning immune system – just to name a few issues. It is just as important to find time to relax as it is to get in regular exercise and eat right.
Friday Fitness Fact – Change it up
Changing your workout routine often helps to keep you interested – mind and body. Consistency is important when it comes to exercise but it doesn’t need to go all the way to doing the same exact exercise for months on end. So change up your aerobics class ever 3-4 weeks.
