Weeknight dinners at my house have to be quick and easy. By the time dinnertime rolls around everyone is tired and cranky (and by everyone I mean ME). No one has the time or energy to spend hours in the kitchen. That’s why I love shortcuts like Idahoan® Mashed Potatoes that give me the taste of homemade without all the work. This quick and easy Salisbury Steak recipe with caramelized mushrooms is such a quick and easy dinner and when paired with Idahoan Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes you have the perfect weeknight meal.
Weeknight meals can be a challenge but you can definitely jazz things up a bit with this lighter (and easier) version of Korean Beef. A recent study has found that adding Mazola® Corn Oil to one’s diet resulted in lower cholesterol levels than Coconut Oil. A previous study found that corn oil can also help lower cholesterol more than extra virgin olive oil. To learn more about the study, see Mazola.com. We made 3 easy swaps to make our favorite Korean Beef recipe even better, including using Mazola® Corn Oil instead of our regular oil.
Dinner time at my house can be hectic, at best. We are all usually tired by that time of the day and, with 6 kids in the house, someone always has a last-minute homework assignment they are rushing to do or some other emergency that needs my immediate attention. That often means that dinner is something that is thrown together in whatever spare moments we have. These quick weeknight Cheesy Chili Noodles are quick to throw together and and always a huge hit.
made with Hunt’s Manwich are perfect!
Did you grow up eating Manwich Sloppy Joes? I swear we had them once a week. They are serious comfort food. We always knew dinner was good when mom pulled out the can of Manwich. Now, as a mom, I love how easy it makes dinner, especially on those nights when I don’t have a lot of time.
I still love Sloppy Joes but I decided to change things up a bit with these Sloppy Joe Stuffed Peppers. My family loves Stuffed Peppers (I actually have one son who requests them as his birthday dinner each year) so these seemed like the perfect way to change up our standard Sloppy Joe night!
Meatloaf is one of my go-to comfort food meals, especially in the wintertime. In my part of the world its about 10 degress outside and snowing. Nothing makes me want to stay inside more than snow.
That means I don’t make grocery store trips as often and so I have to work with what I have on hand. I almost always have the main ingredients for meatloaf and you can experiment with different flavors.
I love that there is only 5 minutes of prep time and it can feed a crowd. With how easy and yummy it is, I have absolutely no idea why meatloaf gets such a bad rep. Sometimes the best recipes are the simplest.
