You have probably heard that you should try to cut back on your fat and carb intake when trying to lose weight. While this is true, it is more important to have balance. You actually need some fat and carbs in your diet to get all of the nutrients that you need stay healthy and strong.
You have to go to a restaurant for a “work thing” and think “Oh I will just get a salad” and be able to stick to your diet. You get your chilled plate and start to pile on all those veggies and toppings and before you know it, you have already pilled over 750 calories on to your plate, hardly any of it protein, which means you are likely to still be very hungry before your next meal.
