Cornbread

This is a great cornbread recipe that can be used for any meal. It is on the sweeter side and can be served with honey, or also eaten plain.

Ingredients

1/2  cup Cornmeal
1 1/2 cup Flour
2/3 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
2 Eggs
1 1/4 cup Milk
1/3 cup Oil

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients seperately. Then combine the ingredients and mix well. Pour the mix in a 8×8 pan and cook for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle is clean.

For a 9×13 pan size, double the ingredients and cook for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle is clean.
