Toddlers are so fun around the holidays. These Easter basket ideas for toddler girls are sure to be a hit and they will look adorable filling up your toddler’s Easter basket on Easter morning.
Toddlers and holidays are such a fun mix. There are so many great Easter basket ideas for toddler girls that the hardest part may be narrowing it down to your best options.
We’ve gathered together some of our favorite Easter basket ideas for toddler girls. These are tried and true options that my girls have all loved at this age.
Easter Baskets for Toddler Girls
First, you’ll need an Easter basket. I like to go with sturdier options I can use for a few years or find baskets that can double as something else so we get some extra use out of them.
I love the idea of using beach buckets like these. These rarely last more than a season or two so it’s nice to replace old once with something new. If you want something for inside use, these cute pink metal buckets are a great options.
You could opt for something that is a bit more decorative. I love these cute little knitted baskets. They’d be perfect for storing odds and ends in your toddler’s bedroom. This collapsable canvas toy bin is perfect for helping organize some of that toy clutter (I may need a few of these myself). If you are looking for book storage, I love this canvas book basket and it would make such a cute Easter basket for a toddler girl.
This alphabet toy bin is super cute too and would come in handy long after Easter was over.
With toddlers, sometimes you just need something sturdy enough to hold up to Easter egg hunts. These plastic wicker baskets are perfect for that and they come in such cute colors. These sweet little bunny canvas bags would be fabulous for holding up to toddlers too.
Easter Basket Stuffers for Toddler Girls
Now that you have your baskets, you need Easter basket stuffer ideas for toddler girls. These are some of our favorite things for toddlers. After having 3 girls born in 2 years, we’ve had a lot of girl toys around here for the last several years. I learned really quickly, which toys and products were worth having, and which were not.
These toddler girl gift ideas are some of our favorites and they are things that would be fabulous in your Easter basket.
Easter Basket Toys for Toddler Girls
First, let’s talk toys. You have to have at least a few little toys in your toddler’s Easter basket and these are some great ones.
To start with, how cute is this little stuffed bunny from Hallmark Baby?
This is my absolutely favorite. We were given these a few months ago for my girls and I just can’t get enough of them. They are modern but classic and the faces on these are just the sweetest. Ever Easter basket needs a cute little stuffed bunny. That one may be a bit hard to find. If you want something with a similar classic style, we can’t get enough of this sweet little Me Too stuffed bunny.
There are some super cute classic toys for toddler girls. This little wooden bunny would be super fun to play with but would also look great displayed on a shelf in a toddler’s bedroom.
Stacking toys are always a hit. My kids play with them long into the preschool years. We love this My First Stacker. We’ve also loved these stacking cups. My kids have used these to play in the tub too so they’ve gotten a lot of use out of them.
Lego sets are always a hit at my house, so we start them young. This Lego My First Ladybug set is perfect for kids ages 1 1/2-3 and is completely adorable. We love grabbing smaller Duplo sets to add to our collection for holidays.
Personal Care Items for Toddler Girl Easter Baskets
I’m a big fan of putting a few things my kids need into their Easter baskets. They definitely need a few fun things, but I’d much rather spend money on things that they need than things that could clutter up the house.
This year, I got some cute little washcloths that were all wrapped up pretty. My girls love to “clean” the tub when they take a bath so I thought it would be fun for them to have their own little washcloths.
We love these Baby Bling headbands. We have several because they are the only ones my toddlers have ever liked to wear.
For toddlers who love to have their nails painted, we love Piggy Paint. It’s non-toxic and water-based so you don’t have to worry about what you are putting on your toddler. If you need to find these locally, they also sell them at Walmart.
Nothing makes bath time more fun than bubble bath. My kids have super sensitive skin, so we are careful about what we use, but we love this Burt’s Bee’s bubble bath for toddlers.
We go through toothpaste like crazy at my house (mostly because my toddlers like to finger paint in it when I’m not looking). Because of that, we’ve tried so many brands over the years, and our favorite, by far, is this watermelon flavored fluoride-free Hello toothpaste. The flavor is light enough that kids don’t mind it and I don’t have to worry about them accidentally swallowing some when they brush their teeth.
Do you have a good sound machine? If not, this gift is as much for you as for your toddler. We absolutely love the Baby Oasis Sound Machine (check out our full review here). They have actual science behind the sounds that are included in this and they have all been proven to maximize sleep.
A good vitamin is always a great way to go. My kids love these Nordic Berries Multivitamins. For that matter, I kind of love them too! These are designed for kids ages 2 and up.
Easter Basket Candy for Toddler Girls
You can’t forget the candy! Some Easter candy isn’t very toddler friendly. There are quite a few types of candy that can be choking hazards that you’ll want to avoid. There’s definitely still some great candy options out there for toddler girls though.
These are some of our favorites:
- Smarties – These are always a favorite and they are perfect for toddlers.
- Lindt Chocolate Carrots – Lindt is always a favorite at my house and these chocolate carrots are much easier for toddlers to eat than chocolate bunnies are.
- Lindt Chocolate Bugs and Bees – These are just adorable.
- Philadelphia Candies Chocolate covered Oreos – Be careful with these. You may want to steal some from your toddler’s Easter basket.
- Yum Earth Organic Fruit Snacks
- Apple + Pineapple That’s It Fruit Bars – These are amazing. You won’t believe that there are only a few ingredients.
- Sweetarts Chicks, Ducks, and Bunnies
- Bunny Corn – This is candy corn, Easter style.
