Thank you Maxi-Cosi for sponsoring this post. Keep your little adventurers comfy, safe & stylish with the Maxi-Cosi Magellan™ Max 5-in-1 Convertible Car Seat!
With 3 kids currently in car seats, there’s no such thing as “just hopping in the car to run an errand”. Getting kids strapped into car seats takes time, especially when you have kids that are different sizes and need to adjust straps. The Maxi-Cosi Magellan™ Max 5-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is an innovative new 5-in-1 convertible car seat that accommodates children from birth to age 10 (5lbs. to 120lbs.) and makes trips around town easy, even if you have kids that are different sizes. With this car seat, we can use it for any child that needs to ride with us.
We love getting out and exploring, but it definitely gets a bit challenging with 6 kids. A great car seat is a must, not only for safety reasons (which are HUGELY important) but also because a great car seat design can make trips out so much easier.
Maxi-Cosi is the top-selling baby car seat brand worldwide. Over the past 30 years, Maxi-Cosi car seats have carried over 50 million babies home from the hospital. That’s a lot of babies!
I was excited to try out the new Maxi-Cosi Magellan™ Max 5-in-1 Convertible Car Seat in my husband’s car.
He’ll often take a kid with him while running errands. It’s a great chance for each child to spend some one-on-one time. In a family of 8, that isn’t something they get often, so they love it when we can make it happen. Even a simple trip to the grocery store becomes an adventure when it gives them some one-on-one time.
Because my husband often takes kids with him, he needs a car seat in his car. The trick is, he will sometimes have the older kids with him too so we don’t want to load up a car seat for each of my three different sized girls. The Maxi-Cosi Magellan™ Max 5-in-1 Convertible Car Seat works perfectly for all my girls and is easy to adjust to get a great fit.
The Maxi-Cosi Magellan™ Max 5-in-1 Convertible Car Seat easily transitions between five modes of use: Baby Rear-Facing, Toddler Rear-Facing, Toddler Forward-Facing, Child Forward-Facing, and Belt Positioning Booster.
All my girls are forward-facing now at ages 4 (twins) and 6, so we don’t have to switch the seat around when the car seat occupant changes, but they are different sizes so I love having an easy option to adjust the straps for them. The Magellan™ Max provides even more convenience, equipped with premium features including an EZ Out harness system to keep straps and the crotch buckle from getting caught and bunched under your child. Paired perfectly with the ClipQuik auto-magnetic chest clip, parents can open it quickly with just one hand—making it easy for parents but hard for kids to unbuckle.
The fabric is super comfortable and machine washable (a feature I’m SURE we will be taking advantage of sooner or later).
Life is so busy for us at the moment, so I love being able to take advantage of any chance we have to get away and have a little fun.
Everyone needs a bit of fun in their life.
Especially preschoolers who are so excited about even the smallest things. Sneaking out for ice-cream with them and seeing how excited they get, makes it feel like a giant adventure.
