Finding a way to organize Christmas decor feels like an overwhelming task. With the Duck Pack & Track™ system, organizing Christmas decor is simple. If you’ve ever wondered how to organize Christmas decor in a way that really makes holiday prep easier, this is the perfect solution.
We moved into our home just over two years ago. Moving with 6 kids, by itself, is a monumental task, but trying to move in an organized manner is impossible Don’t tell me if you’ve managed to pull it off. My self-esteem and garage full of still halfway unpacked boxes can’t handle it.
While the moving is behind us now, the organization, especially when it comes to our garage, is still something we are struggling with. The bulk of that mess in my garage is boxes of Christmas decor that has no rhyme or reason to it.
Every holiday season, I swear I’m going to tackle the overwhelming job of sorting the holiday decor into boxes that make it easier for us to actually find what is in there.
Every year, our schedule is too packed by the time the holidays roll around so we just pull stuff out and pack it back in any old way we can.
This year, I’m tackling things early.
What sparked this burst of insanity? I’ve discovered a genius method to organize any boxes in your home. The Duck Pack & Track™ App-based labeling, storage, and locating system makes it super easy to organize boxes.
I’m kicking myself for not discovering this before we moved. If I had, I might not have boxes in my garage that are still labeled “stuff” and are filled with enough nonsense from our old house that I don’t even want to tackle unpacking them.
For now, I’m organizing all my holiday decor. Then I’ll probably tackle every other room in my house because I’m so excited about the way the Duck Pack & Track system makes organization easy.
I decorate box-by-box during the holiday season. I don’t have time to devote a full day to decorating so I pull out a box at a time. The problem with that method with my current organizational system is I never know what box I’m going to get. I might end up with a box of Christmas ornaments before my tree is up or a box of holiday plates and cooking supplies before I’m anywhere close to thinking about baking.
With The Duck Pack & Track system, that won’t be a problem this year. I can hunt down the exact box that I need and see what is in it (with pictures if I need them). I can even search by a specific decor item and find out which box it is in! I can already see how this is going to make my life easier.
How does the Duck Pack & Track System Work?
So many organizational systems overwhelm me. I want my home organized but I don’t have time for complicated systems that take weeks to set up. I need quick and to-the-point.
With the Duck Pack & Track system, there’s nothing complicated to set up. You download the free app and it works seamlessly with the labels to help you organize and document what is in each box.
Using the system is easy.
First, label the box. Assign a name to your box and write it on the label. Each box needs to have a different name so if you have more than one box of each item, like ornaments, label it “Ornaments 1”, “Ornaments 2”, etc.
Next, scan the label. This is easy to do with the app.
Then, add items to your box. Duck has made this so easy to do. You can use the voice option to dictate the contents of your box or type them in. You an even add pictures if you’d like to have a visual reminder of what is in your box.
The process of adding items to the box is so easy. I’m excited at how clear it is what you have stored in each box.
To find the item you need, you can use the “Find” function in the app and speak or type the item you are looking for. Pack & Track will let you know exactly what box it is in. This is going to make the holidays so much easier for me. No more hunting around in boxes until I find what I’m looking for. Now I can use the app to quickly find what I need and get back to my crazy holiday to-do list.
This year, I can’t wait to pull out all my freshly organized holiday decorations. The app will make it easy for me to put each item back in the box it belongs too so hopefully we will have lots of stress-free holidays in our future.
