Are you looking for a way to stick to your New Year’s Resolutions this year? It’s never too late to start over. I’m a big fan of setting goals throughout the year but there’s always something special about New Year’s Resolutions. This printable New Year’s Resolutions planner can help you set goals that you can keep.
Setting New Year’s Resolutions is a bit of a hot topic. Some people are adamantly against them because most of them fail and others look forward to them all year long.
I’m of the opinion that even trying and failing is better than not trying at all … plus I really like setting goals in general and the start of a new year is the perfect time to work towards some goals.
This Printable New Year’s Resolutions Planner can help you set your goals and put them on display.
Seeing something in visual form is a great reminder and writing goals down has been proven to increase the odds that you’ll actually succeed.
How do you set New Year’s Resolutions that you can actually keep?
That’s the real question, right?
I’ve tried just about everything when it comes to setting New Year’s resolutions and I can tell you a lot about what doesn’t work and just a tiny bit about what does.
It’s a start.
Post your resolutions somewhere visible. Goals are easy to forget about if you don’t write them down and post them somewhere that you can see on a regular basis.
Make your resolutions concrete. Setting goals that are easily tracked are much easier to gauge your success. We all want to feel like we are making progress and that’s really hard when your goals aren’t measurable. Without concrete goals, you are setting yourself up to feel like a failure no matter how much progress you make towards your goal.
Tell someone about your resolutions. We could all use a little support, especially when it comes to goal setting. Tell a family member, friend, or accountability partner what your goal is and check in with them on a regular basis.
