We’re on the home stretch. Soon parents everywhere will be able to breath a sign of relief . . . at least until New Years when we have to commit to losing all the holiday weight. Hopefully you planned ahead and got all your Christmas shopping done early but most of us probably got a bit sidetracked and forgot about a few gifts we needed to buy. If you have a last minute gift you need to grab, especially for someone out of town, you may be wondering how in the world you will get it to them.
eGift Social is a Facebook application that makes it really easy to send last minute gifts to anyone on your holiday shopping list. The recipient just has to pull up their gift activation code on their phone or print it and take it into the store to get their gift.
eGift Social sent me a few codes to try out and I was worried it would be a hassle but it was so easy to use. I redeemed one gift card at Kmart and the cashier wasn’t phased at all by such a unique payment method. I was able to send a second gift over Facebook to someone out of state and get a gift there in time for Christmas.
Check out the eGift Social Facebook page for more information or to send a last minute gift to someone on your holiday shopping list.
