Spicy Ranch Chicken Sliders with Avocado for the Big Game

Watching the Big Game is all about the food at my house. Every party is better with a great spread of snacks that everyone can enjoy. One of my family’s favorites are these Spicy Ranch Chicken Sliders with Avocado. There’s nothing like the combination of Avocados From Mexico and TABASCO® Sauce. The flavor in these Game Day sliders is unbelievable and they are always the first thing to go.
When you want something with amazing flavor, nothing is better than a dash of TABASCO® Sauce. We’ve used it for years, and loved it, but just recently I found out that the ingredients are marinated for three years in wood barrels before the sauce is bottled. That’s what gives it such incredible flavor. I had no idea that so much work went into each bottle.
They only use hand-picked, ripened red tabasco peppers, vinegar, and salt. That simple combination adds so much punch to your dishes and makes TABASCO® Sauce a regular on our dinner table.
I love combining TABASCO® Sauce with the cooling flavor of Avocados From Mexico. Personally, I’ll put Avocados From Mexico on anything (and they are so versatile that I pretty much do), but they are extra yummy on dishes that have a bit of kick.
These Spicy Ranch Chicken Sliders are so easy to make and they are delicious. That makes them our go-to whenever we need game day food. This recipe will make 12 sliders. We usually have a little extra chicken mixture, but my kids never complain because the extras make AMAZING nachos.
This can easily be doubled for a crowd.Â
Spicy Ranch Chicken Sliders with Avocado Ingredients
- 3-4 chicken breasts
- 2 Avocados From Mexico, sliced
- 3/4 cup TABASCO® Sauce (you can do more or less based on your family’s personal preference)
- 1 ounce pack of powdered ranch mix
- 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
- Everything seasoning (or any combination of your favorite)
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 12 dinner rolls
Spicy Ranch Chicken Sliders with Avocado Ingredients
Cook the chicken breasts, seasoning liberally with pepper and a bit of salt. My favorite way to do this is in my Instant Pot. I put about a cup of water in the bottom, put in the metal rack that comes with the pot, and layer the chicken on top of the rack. Set it to the poultry setting to cook. This essentially steams the chicken and the texture is perfect.
Once your chicken is cooked, shred it well.
Mix in the TABASCO® Sauce, powdered ranch, and cream cheese.
Return it to the Instant Pot and cook for 2 minutes (it won’t take long), or pop it into the oven until the mixture is nice and bubbly.
Slice your dinner rolls in half (we did the whole dozen at once since ours were still connected) and spread your chicken mixture on top.
Layer your sliced Avocados From Mexico on top of the chicken mixture and top with the upper half of the rolls.
Brush the tops of the rolls with butter and sprinkle on Everything season (or whatever your favorite is).
Broil on high for 2-3 minutes. Keep a close eye on these. They don’t need to broil for long.
Pull them out when the top is nice and crispy and just lightly browned.
Serve with some fresh veggies and your favorite big game finger foods.
