Are you looking for survival swimming lessons in Pleasant Grove, Utah? My family has had an amazing experience with SwimKids Utah and they are getting ready to open their new Pleasant Grove facility.
Did you know that drowning is the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 1-4? That’s a terrifying statistic as a parent.
We learned, first hand, just how quickly water accidents can happen when my daughter had a near-drowning at 2-years-old. We got VERY lucky, and today she is a happy, healthy (and still a little overly confident) 6-year-old.
After her accident, we realized that swimming lessons were a top priority, not just as a fun activity but because kids need to know how to be safe around the water. We had twins who were younger than my daughter and all three of them needed to learn how to swim asap.
The problem was, we weren’t having much luck.
We tried multiple sessions of swim lessons at a local recreation center and my daughter was no closer to being able to swim independently than when she started. I was starting to wonder if she was going to ever learn how to swim.
Then I tried SwimKids, after it was recommended by a friend.
SwimKids had my daughter swimming independently within 4 lessons.
Now, all three of my girls are confident swimmers and I love knowing that they are safer near the water.
The difference between the recreation center swim lessons we had and our lessons with SwimKids was dramatic. The instructors follow a proven method that helps kids learn how to be safe in the water as quickly as possible.
My twins were swimming across the pool at 3 years old using the swim – float – swim method. I’m confident that they could get themselves to the edge of the water in an emergency. My now 6-year-old is now asking to join a competitive swim team. I love that she’s not only safe in the water, but has discovered a sport that she can enjoy for her entire life.
SwimKids Pleasant Grove
SwimKids is opening a new facility in Pleasant Grove, Utah to teach survival swim lessons for kids. This new facility is going to be AMAZING.
SwimKids is a family-owned and operated local business that has taught 50,000+ students in 35 years. I discovered them at a point when I was desperate for swim lessons that worked and I have been thrilled with the results we’ve gotten. We stick with SwimKids because we know that their methods work and the instructors are some of the best.
The new pool is going to be 40×20 feet and about 3 1/2 feet deep, so it is perfect for new swimmers.
