I’m terrible about late-night snacking. As soon as the kids go to bed, I raid the fridge and I’ll eat anything I can grab easily. I’m blaming it on nursing twins. I’ve given up trying to cut out my late-night snack but I try and go for some healthier options.
Since ice-cream is often my go-to treat, I thought I’d switch things out and make a yogurt Sunday with Yoplait yogurt. I’m so glad they carry Yoplait at my local Walmart just down the street because we go through it so fast in my house. I have to hide my favorite flavors in the fridge or my kids eat it all.
This yogurt Sunday is such a fun twist on an ice-cream Sunday. My kids went nuts for it and everyone loved choosing their favorite toppings. I’m going to be sneaking an extra one after they go to bed tonight. Shhhh!
- Yoplait yogurt
- Your favorite toppings – strawberries, bananas, coconut, cherries, nuts, chocolate syrup, etc.
I put these together in my ice-cream Sunday glasses to make them feel more like a treat. Layer a few toppings in the bottom, scoop in your favorite Yoplait flavor (I’m a big strawberry banana fan but key lime pie comes in at a close second), then top with your favorite toppings!
I love that I’m getting some great nutrients during my late-night snack session and it’s a great way to wind down after a long day.
